3 Tips For Creating The Perfect Packaging To Ship Your Products To Customers

If you have a business that will ship items to your customers, one big part of both your marketing and logistics is going to involve how you package your products and how they arrive to your customers or clients. Gone are the days where a business could just throw things in a nondescript box and hope for the best. Now, businesses need to really think about the perfect packaging and what that means for their customers.

To help you in figuring all of this out, here are three tips for creating the perfect packaging to ship your products to customers. 

Create An Unboxing Experience

One of the things that you want to think about when it comes to packaging is the unboxing experience. You’ll find so many videos online of people unboxing packages that they’ve received in the mail. So to help people have a great experience with this when it comes to your products, you’ll want to be strategic with how you box something so that the unboxing can be exciting. 

For some businesses, finding a balance between creating a packaging that doesn’t go too hard against the grain while also being clever can be a challenge. So if this is something that you’re struggling with, you may want to consider how you can make the unboxing of your product a more emotional experience. This could include offering a free item, wrapping the package so that it feels like Christmas morning when someone opens it, or even including scents into the packaging for a more branded experience. 

Do Something Surprising And Unique

Part of having a successful unboxing experience will include doing something surprising and unique. So while having a custom printed box can be a great way for people to know that whatever in the box is coming from your business, you may want to find some ways to reach past even this.

The wrapping within and without your packaging is also something that you should be strategic about. Especially for products that could get broken in-transit or that you want to make sure arrive at their final destination looking a certain way, you’ll want to be extra careful with how you package everything inside of the box before you send it. This could include using things like tissue paper, bubble wrap, or other padding materials to help ensure that everything stays in the right place and that the product can be successfully opened without any issues for your customers.
