Agam Berry – Serial Entrepreneur

Agam Berry is a well known serial entrepreneur and businessman that has mentored and taught dozens of successful entrepreneurs today.   He received his Bachelor’s degree from Punjab university in 2010 and has since branched into the world of digital marketing.

Mr. Berry has a specialized skill-set of bringing products to the marketplace through direct response advertising; a trackable and highly analytical method of producing sales for businesses.

Today, Agam resides in New York City and regularly consults with a number of companies to notice any blind-spots that they may not see otherwise.  His keen, analytical style of breaking down obstacles makes him highly sought after in his industry.

What do you do in your spare time?

I’ve been asked this a lot whenever I have the chance to do an interview.  I love answering it!  Studying chess has always been a fun past time but I have recently been taking it more serious now.

There’s a lot to learn from the game.  With careful planning, strategy, and anticipating your opponents next move, you can easily translate those ideas into business. I find it keeps my mind sharp!

What’s your favorite film?

The Shawshank Redemption is by far my favorite film of all time.  I can’t get enough of watching it over and over.  Stories of regular people that get dealt a bad hand and make the most of their situation always inspires me – it’s even better when they triumph in the end! Hope I’m not spoiling anything!

What can you look forward to in the future?

Honestly, I’d love to see digital media open up faster to the cryptocurrency markets.  Crypto currencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin are at the forefront of what we as a society really need to get behind.  I think our industry could be a leader in offering different ways for people to buy and sell goods and services.

Most of the leaders of this industry are heavily interested and invested in crypto currencies, but haven’t yet fully integrated everything.

What’s your favorite thing about working in your industry?

The online world is full of interesting people from all different types of backgrounds.  I’ve met former Wall Street whizzes carry over their hedge fund algorithms to the direct response industry and literally make millions while letting computers do all the work.  It’s also amazing to meet former professional athletes and military servicemen and women getting into direct response marketing.

What motivates you everyday?

What’s gets me out of bed every morning is the goal to embody greatness. I want to make a difference in the world and with the people I interact with every day.  Even if I’m simply ordering a coffee!  There’s a fantastic book called The Greatness Guide by Robin Sharma.

It’s been one of my favorites since it was published in 2008.  I started incorporating some of the principles laid out in the book years ago and not only has it helped me in business, it’s made me a better person too.  Definitely put it on your reading list!

(Update: Agam Berry recently shared in an in depth article how he has incorporated The Great Game of Business by Jack Stack into his business. Check out the full article here.)
