What Are Your Favorite Books?

Glad you asked! Like most business professionals, I love to read. It’s a common trait that I keep discovering among everyone I talk to. I’m a big fan of business books and biographies, honestly. I always get motivated when something “clicks” to me after reading a new book. Lately, Third Circle Theory by Pejman Ghadimi, has become one of my favorite reads. I think I’ve read it three times now!

What’s Your Favorite TV Show?

This may not be a surprise but I love Shark Tank. Sales and negotiation is a dying art form. I love seeing the wins on this show as much as the losses. You can tell when a product is a hit before the pitch is even made to the sharks. Some ideas just seem to get it right off the bat.

I love it when one of the sharks finds a new use or angle for what’s being pitched to them. They may not see a fit for the product being sold, but more for the technology behind it or a certain patent that they can capitalize on and work with the owner to make it even more successful.

I can’t get enough of Shark Tank!

What Can You Look Forward To In The Future?

Personally, I’d love to become more involved in charitable organizations. I’ve been blessed to have a comfortable life even if it’s been at the expense of a lot of hard work and sacrifice. I have given up a decent chunk of time to pursue my career in digital media. Now, however, I think it’s time to give back. I’m going to spend some time thinking about good causes to give to.

With Memorial Day recently passing, I’ve been reflecting more and more on how important our service members are to our country. I’d love to give back to the families of those that have given so much to us.

What’s Your Favorite Thing About Working In Your Industry?

Freedom! I can travel anywhere and still be as productive as I could if I were in my office back home. You can’t find that anywhere else!

What’s One Piece Of Advice You’d Like To Share?

Don’t get complacent. The more aware and hungry you are, the more successful you will be. Never be satisfied with your goals or you’ll quickly be shocked back into the reality that you’ve been surpassed by your peers. Stay vigilant!
