We recently connected with Briggs and asked him a few questions about his personal life, business, and everything in between.
What are some things that you love?
That’s an easy question, my family. When I’m not working I’m spending time with my wife and five children. Outdoor activities are always fun and we enjoy camping, playing sports, or any activity where we’re enjoying the sun and fresh air.
North Carolina is a beautiful place with many lakes, mountains, and parks. The mild climate here is fantastic as we can enjoy outdoor activities year round. As our children have grown, spending time with them supporting their interests and activities has been something I really look forward to.
What’s your favorite type of food?
Anything that’s healthy, quick and easy to prepare, and enjoyed by my entire family. We’re a family of (7) so pleasing everyone can be difficult at times. After a few years of trial and error, my wife and I have some “go-to” recipes which make that a reality.
When I’m not eating at home, same rules apply when it comes to simple and healthy food. Beyond food, I’m constantly drinking water throughout the day as it helps keep my appetite in check and keeps my energy levels high. I can’t recommend the health benefits of water enough to my family as well as my patients.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Always put family first. My family means the world to me and it’s my duty and obligation to take care of them as they have and will take care of me.
What’s your favorite thing about working in your industry?
Happy patients and clients. Being part of their transformation process is an honor and a privilege and to help someone look or feel better after a procedure is an awesome feeling. Knowing that I’ve made an impact on someone’s life where they’re at ease, happier, or more confident keeps me pushing forward.
What’s one piece of advice you can share with others?
Everyone was born with the ability to change someone’s life, never take that for granted.
It doesn’t matter how old you are or what your background is. Everyone in the world has unique talents, capabilities, and offerings which can make an impact. Fulfillment comes from letting your bright light shine and encouraging others to do the same.
