George Faltaous – CEO of Chamonix Skin Care
George Faltaous is a pharmacist by trade and has an extensive background in nutrition, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals.
In 1999, working as a Pharmacist, George Faltaous was approached by a female customer who asked him to develop a wrinkle cream after she had experienced several unsuccessful results with various products. There was no label and no marketing. The product produced amazing results and word quickly spread. It was purely through word of mouth in his small New Jersey town that “George’s cream” took off. At the time it was “the only wrinkle cream available with pure antioxidants and no pharmaceutical preservatives”.
Almost 18 years later, Chamonix Skin Care is an international company with thousands of customers, celebrity endorsements in every market, and dozens of pure, antioxidant based, anti-aging products. Every formula in your hand is as pure in formulation, in philosophy, and in natural goodness as the one made in 1999 for that very first customer.
The loyal customer base rapidly grew and led to the creation of the Genucel line as well as many other products.
What are some of the things you love?
I love learning whether it be professionally or personally. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures as well as meeting new people and learning from their experiences. I love each minute of my day and enjoy the process and journey that my career has taken me.
What’s your favorite type of food?
Pizza. It’s quick to grab when you are busy, only 300 calories a slice, and who doesn’t love pizza!?
What’s the best advice you have received?
Just do what you love. I know many people struggle with finding their passion or are unsure at times, but the time will come when you will absolutely be certain. As long as you enjoy what you are doing, you’ll discover new opportunities that will help you grow as a person.
What’s your favorite thing about working in the industry?
I love the science behind our products. Being able to use natural antioxidants to help people and discovering ingredients that other cultures have been using for centuries is a passion. The world is smaller than ever before and the access to information is larger than it has ever been.
What motivates you every day?
Every day is a new day and I believe in putting as much positive energy out there daily. I want to help people and enjoy the journey along the way. Every morning I want to be in the spirit of appreciation and gratitude for all my life experiences and the future ones that are to come.
