Julixa Newman
Julixa Newman founded Stuff 4 Multiples in 2009 after having twin girls and realizing that the products she needed to handle multiple children simply weren’t available. The New York native is driven to work smart, hard and fast and as a result, has built the number one twin store in the U.S. Her products can be found online and offline at major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Amazon.
Her newest venture is an E-Commerce Mastermind Group that will help others take their E-comms to the next level.
What’s your favorite type of food?
My favorite food will always be the classic Puerto Rican dish, Mofongo. It’s basically fried plantains mashed with spices and lots of garlic and is served with chicken, pork or seafood. It is beyond amazing. You’ll thank me later if you haven’t tried it before.
Whats your biggest pet peeve?
One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone drops the ball or doesn’t follow through. I consider it the easy way out. You don’t achieve success by not completing a task.
Favorite Books:
I recently finished the book “The Third Door” by Alex Banayan. It talks about the philosophies that entrepreneurs such as Bill Gates and Elliot Bisnow have followed to achieve ravishing success. There’s so much we all can learn from their journeys.
One of my all time favorite books is Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. It traces our species through the last 100,000 years and the Cognitive, Agricultural, Scientific, and Industrial Revolutions. It’s guaranteed to blow your mind.
What are your aspirations in life?
One of my biggest aspirations is to give back to others, especially the entrepreneurial community. I want to be able to help them reach a level of success that they didn’t think would be possible. That’s the reason I created my E-commerce Mastermind Group.
What’s your biggest accomplishment to date?
Personally, my children. Professionally it’s been witnessing my company go from a couple of thousand dollars in revenue to seven digits! I still get giddy when I see people walking around in products that I created.
