Karl Jobst, D.D.S – Founder of Grand Lake Dental
Karl Jobst, DDS, is the founder of Grand Lake Dental and is a dentist who has maintained a sterling reputation as one of the most respected dental professionals in the region. The Grove, OK, dentist treats patients at a cutting-edge facility in which the most advanced dental technologies make it possible for Dr. Jobst to offer the best possible level of dental care in an incredibly comfortable atmosphere.
According to Karl Jobst, Grove, OK, has been an unbelievably ideal location for his practice ever since it was founded in 1998. In fact, it was during one of the many trips he made to the Grand Lake Area as a youth that he first envisioned a business card that would read, “Karl Jobst, DDS, Grove, OK,” recognizing the sheer beauty of the area and its exceptional potential as the future site of his dental practice. While he originally grew up on a cattle farm in Lamar, Missouri, for Karl Jobst, the Grand Lake Area is and will continue to be home.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to volunteer with my church and I try give back to the community in any way possible. Of course, I really enjoy spending time with my family and my friends during my time away from the office. I also have my private pilot’s license, so I fly whenever I have the time to do so.
What’s your favorite type of food?
I try to keep my meals very simple and straightforward — I tend to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables — but I do enjoy a good cut of steak every once in a great while.
What’s the best advice you ever received?
I’ve had quite a few mentors over the years, and so much of my success can be credited to friends, family, and professors, as well as my peers in the field of dentistry. My parents always reinforced the importance of keeping an open mind and listening closely to what others had to say, which I believe is why I have been able to apply so much of the advice I have received over the years.
What’s your favorite thing about working in your industry?
I work with so many wonderful people at my practice, and we have the great honor of treating a wonderful group of patients each and every day. It brings me a great deal of joy to know that the work we do either corrects or prevents a number of critical dental issues, many of which can be quite uncomfortable until properly addressed by a dentist.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud that every decision I have made regarding Grand Lake Dental has been made with the sole intention of improving the level of treatment our patients receive when they come to our office.
