What’s the best advice you ever received?
There are no mistakes in life, there are just lessons. When things don’t go our way or appear to be a mistake It is important to reflect on that and learn from that. Once you reflect on it, then it can be addressed in a positive way. Another lesson I learned is to believe in yourself. I am a believer in if at first, you don’t succeed try, try again. True desire creates true success.
What are your aspirations in life?
My aspiration is to make the world a better place than it was when I came. We can make a difference not only in people’s lives but also our environment and in our future. It could help with voter protection to assure that every vote matters. It could be advocating for my clients or feeding the homeless. I want to leave a footprint for future generations.
What can you look forward to in the future?
I’d like to see future generations making a difference in the world. I’d like to see them standing up for their beliefs and advocating for themselves and others. Being true to themselves. Knowing that one truth and one voice or one action can make a difference. I’d like to see them make this world better for the next generation.
What’s one piece of advice you can share with others?
The sky is the limit on what you can accomplish in life. I think it is a good rule of thumb to give yourself three goals to accomplish each year. Share those goals with your friends and loved ones. I am a firm believer that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to, as long as you follow your passion. Follow your passion and desire and it will lead you to a happy life.
What do you do in your spare time?
I travel in my spare time. I have traveled to all seven continents. We are getting ready to go to South Africa for the first time. I am very excited to experience the culture and the people. I believe it is important to experience new cultures. It is important to venture out of our own bubbles and experience meet new people and eat new foods. I get to experience it with someone that I love.
