Marie-Antoinette Tichler – Founder & CEO of C2Legacy
We connected with Marie-Antoinette this week after reading her interview on CoinReviews.io. We’re fascinated with cryptocurrency like many entrepreneurs, so asking Marie-Antoinette some questions for our readers at Five Hundo only seemed appropriate.
Marie-Antoinette Tichler is a serial entrepreneur, social technologist and community advocate who has devoted her life to educating citizens about their Digital Legacy and respecting the power of technology.
Her experience includes creating technology based programs for underserved youth, to teach high school students technology skills that could increase technological access and decrease harm caused thru technology. Prior to C2Legacy, Marie-Antoinette created TOADD.org’s Growing Up Mobile Program, a mobile technology program providing much needed tech education and innovation access for youth.
Over the years, she has been able to observe technology adaption, adoption, transition and the massive intrusion into daily life. And for almost a decade, she has been teaching the importance of Digital Legacy. Because of this pass experience and the unexpected death of her son’s father, when learning that her entrepreneurial son was accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for his business services. She knew C2Legacy had to become a service that could not only help her son, but others all over the world.
Where were you born?
I’m a homegrown Georgia Peach, from the grassy Pecan Land who believes in legacy. I was born in Athens, Georgia, “Go Dawgs!” And raised in metro Atlanta, Georgia, “Rise Up!” Being from the Birthplace for Civil Rights, one the Most Diverse Cities in the World and soon to be Second Hollywood and a booming Cryptocurrency City, heightens the affection I feel for my state, “Sweet Georgia.”
What’s your favorite TV show?
I’ve never had ONE favorite show. Prior to November 8th my favorite TV shows involved anything shady, ratchet, entertaining and reality TV related. After November 8th reality came home to roost. My new favorite TV shows mostly deal with reality, love OWN Network and Auntie Oprah, Morning Joe, AM Joy, CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, Rachel Maddow Show and The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.
What are your aspirations in life?
My aspirations in life are simple. Wake up every day and be the best me I can possibly be, all I can hope for is that I reach my full potential by doing so.
What’s your favorite thing about working in your industry?
I love being an active part of a new era “The Crypto Era,” new industry, new wealth holders and more importantly new possibilities. These new possibilities are creating something exemplary, HOPE. Hope is the one intangible feeling that can actually manifest itself in tangible ways.
Additionally, some of my favorite people are hands-down, “Cryptoillionaires,” digital money millionaires. They are “developing” our new society. While simultaneously, creating a new generation of wealthy heirs, who will need to safely receive digital estates. Which is why we believe C2Legacy will be pivotal in privately and securely transferring digital assets.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
My peeves are, it’s not easy to use wallets and customer service is lacking. I do feel that, in time the customer service issue will be corrected. But as for now, blockchain companies have a bad reputation with customer service. My second peeve is a common one, the user experience within some of these the platforms creates the feeling of being in the #TwilightZone. The more simple the steps for processes can be, the more adaptable it will become.
