Keith Bansemer – VP of Marketing of My Patriot Supply

Keith Bansemer, My Patriot Supply’s VP of Marketing, is a renowned digital, mobile, and eCommerce marketing leader who plays an instrumental role in helping Americans achieve greater independence through substantially increased self-reliance.

My Patriot Supply was founded in 2008 with the goal of offering affordable products — including tools, supplies, and other survival essentials — to Americans who understand the significance of the many threats facing society at large.

Bansemer, who joined the company in February of 2016, leads the digital, print, TV/radio and direct mail marketing strategies and eCommerce executions for the company.

What do you do in your spare time?

I prefer to spend my free time in the company of my family and I deeply enjoy hiking up in the mountains near our home in Northern Idaho. We all agree that any spare time we have available is best used in a way that clearly reflects our deep love for nature and the wilderness.

What’s your favorite T.V. show?

I hardly ever watch television, so it’s been a long time since I could actually claim any TV show as my “favorite.” For a laugh, it would be Seinfeld when that was on the air.  Daily, I tend to flip around the TV news shows to gain different perspectives for what’s happening in the world and what to be prepared for.

What are your aspirations in life?

I’ve been able to get so much more out of my life because of the self-reliant philosophy I adopted long ago, so it has long been my hope that my career pursuits will help others discover the freedom and independence made possible through sustainable self-reliance. It is a lofty aspiration to be sure, but it is one that has motivated me to pursue so many different opportunities in the hope that I’ll be able to help others in some significant way.

What’s your favorite thing about working in your industry?

I am deeply appreciative of the fact that my industry is one that aims to offer a wide range of effective solutions to issues of such profound significance. This is an industry that, over the course of just a few years, has made so many Americans aware of the need to properly prepare for emergency situations while also promoting the freedom experienced by those who learn to be completely self-reliant.

What did you learn from your biggest failure?
My biggest failure occurred during my young adult years and was a particular trying time. It was a period where I learned self-resilience, something My Patriot Supply advocates, and also where I learned to be forward-thinking individual, a great problem solver and an excellent leader.
