Peter Jacoves – Founder and CEO of Nationwide Debt Reduction Services

Peter Jacoves is the founder and CEO of Nationwide Debt Reduction Services, a debt settlement company structured around the goal of helping consumers satisfy and eliminate any and all outstanding and unsecured financial obligations. Under the founder and CEO’s leadership, Nationwide Debt Reduction Services, like so many of Mr. Jacoves’ previous strategic entrepreneurial endeavors, is poised for continued growth and sustained success within the rapidly expanding settlement default sector.

A prominent strategic entrepreneur with a sterling professional reputation built over the course of many years and entrepreneurial endeavors, Mr. Jacoves created the innovative framework at the core of Nationwide Debt Reduction Services’ success, which revolves around a 50-state, front-to-back-end solution for consumers saddled with debt and in search of effective debt relief services.

What are your favorite books?

My favorite book would have to be Richard Branson’s “Like A Virgin- Secrets They Won’t Teach You at Business School”.  Mr Branson is a self-made billionaire who treats his employees as co-workers and has never lost his excitement for business.  I adhere to his number one rule: If you don’t enjoy it, don’t do it!

What’s your favorite type of food?

Having grown up in New Orleans, one of the culinary capitals in the nation, I was raised on Cajun spices.  I love gumbo, jambalaya and you can always find a bottle of Louisiana Hot sauce in my desk drawer!  I have yet to find a dessert even close to those powdered sugared fried dough squares known as beignets with a steaming café au lait made with chicory coffee.

Describe your typical day.

I am a firm believer in both physical and mental well-being.  My most productive days are when I get an early start and work out before I go into the office.  I feel energized and ready to face any task.

The mornings are devoted to going through and responding to emails and correspondence and the afternoons generally involve meetings with each of my department heads.  I do not micromanage, having placed competent individuals in management positions but like to be up to date as to productivity and progress.  I like to have my finger on the pulse of the company.

What’s your biggest accomplishment to date?

Among my peers, I am perhaps best known for the Fuel Rewards Program, for which I own several patents and am responsible for creating, developing, and launching. I believe that my work with Nationwide Debt Reduction Services will ultimately prove to be my biggest accomplishment — happy wheels demo especially given the incredible opportunity we have to help so many consumers satisfy their outstanding debt obligations.

What motivates you every day?

My family is a huge source of motivation for me.  My wife encourages me every day.  I just want to make life a little easier for her and my children and want to be a positive role model. One of my fondest memories is when my daughter was only three, she picked up my briefcase and walked proudly through the house exclaiming she was late for a big meeting!
