Rachel Kugel – Owner of The Kugel Law Firm

Rachel Kugel grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She left her hometown to attend American University in Washington, D.C. and earned her law degree from Cardozo Law School in New York City. Since that time Rachel Kugel has founded The Kugel Law Firm, which is dedicated to defending the rights of the accused throughout New York and New Jersey. She regularly appears as a legal analyst on many national news networks and defended hundreds of people over the last decade.

1. What do you do in your spare time?

What spare time? Lol

Between running a law firm and raising two little girls time is a hot commodity around here. When I’m not working I love to just be with my family. I love to travel and try to get in a few cool trips each year.

2. What’s the best advice you ever received?

Don’t spend time worrying about what others think of you.

3. What are your aspirations in life?

To be a great mom and to make my mark in the world by serving others as a good lawyer and a good person.

4. What’s your favorite thing about working in your industry?

I love that I get to be involved in human drama, to get to work with people during some of the most difficult times in their lives and help get them through it. I also love that what I get to stand for is ones individual rights in this country.

5. What motivates you every day?

I am motivated by fighting the good fight, by being my own boss, by being needed as a voice for my clients, and by setting a good example of what a woman can do for my girls.
