What are your favorite books?

I first read the Art of War by Lao Tzu many, many years ago, and I’ve returned to many of the principles outlined in the book on countless occasions throughout my professional career. I’ve also read Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations several times over as well and have found it to be incredibly helpful in all facets of my life.

What’s your favorite T.V. show?

It’s sort of a guilty pleasure, but The Ultimate Fighter has easily been my favorite show since it debuted over a decade ago. Being able to understand what many of these fighters go through and the hardships they have encountered in their lives really adds a sense of humanity to the program, which in turn gets you immediately invested in seeing how the remainder of their careers play out.

What are your aspirations in life?

My company’s goal is to improve the health and well-being of entire communities through research and clinical trials, so my main aspiration is to assist as many people as possible understand how to lead a healthier life while also helping to increase their longevity as well. It is very important to me to devote my professional career to the betterment of society through public health efforts, which is a large part of the reason why I left the financial sector to take on my current role with Continental Clinical Solutions.

How could you improve your business?

This is a question I ask myself every single day, and I while I have developed a number of strategies for improving many aspects of the business, I firmly believe that the best way to improve the company would be to expand its reach by a significant degree. Of course, we have to first put a detailed plan in place to expand in a manner that allows us to continually meet the exceptionally lofty standards we have set for the company.

What’s one piece of advice you can share with others?

There is no better way to succeed in any pursuit than to make a completely unwavering commitment while also developing the ability to maintain a sense of patience. Some people are able to achieve success quickly and easily, but it is always a mistake to expect that to happen in every circumstance. Those who are committed to achieving something and are able to remain patient and dedicated over the long term are far more likely to enjoy a great deal of success.
