Ty DeWale – VP of Capital Markets at LendPlus

We had a chance to sit down with Ty DeWale of LendPlus recently for an interesting interview. Ty DeWale, who has over fifteen years experience, is a seasoned Capital Markets professional with in-depth, hands-on experience in Securitization, Whole Loan Trading, Delivery, Mortgage Operations, Credit Risk, Underwriting and Loan Servicing.

As the Vice President of Capital Markets at LendPlus, Ty oversees the management of a secondary team of marketing professionals, builds and maintains investor relationships, and manages daily interest rate risk for the entire team.

While the responsibility of his position at LendPlus is high, Mr. DeWale calmly leads his team of professionals and directly influences the success of the firm.

Where were you born?

I was born in London, UK and I immigrated to the U.S in late 1996.

What’s your favorite T.V. show?

When I am not watching Peppa Pig with my three beautiful children, I enjoy watching Rick Santelli on CNBC! It helps me stay up to date with the latest industry news and market trends.

What are your aspirations in life?

I simply aspire to be better than I was yesterday. Continually growing as a person both professionally and personally is very important to me. I am inspired by Tony Robbins.

What’s your favorite thing about working in your industry at LendPlus?

The great thing about this industry it is dynamic which means I am always learning and growing. LendPlus provides the environment and support to adapt to a changing industry and provides the opportunity to expand my skill set.

What’s your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is when people have the tools they need right in front of them and yet don’t take advantage of them. The internet is a wonderful thing and you can always ask Siri.
